Did the world come to an end or was it just the Lions loosing?

I think it was just the Lions loosing. I didn't hear any sirens, hear any cabooms or alerts but man, I tell you I had one really distraught son. You'd have thought some life altering castastrohe had occured.
I admit his enthusiasm and loyalty are admirable qualities to have but geez. 

As a mom, don't we want to teach out kids to be loyal? Loyal to family, friends, faith? It's important right? I believe it is. I am fiercely loyal and want my kids to have that same passion. Loyalty is important in families, it helps us forge lifelong friendships, good marriages and is a quality that we'd all like to have. At least I think so. So when my son gets really, and I mean REALLY, upset when the Lions play bad and fall out of the play offs in the first round, I have to remind myself that it's loyalty. At least he didn't flip and root for the Saints! Love that little guy!
